About the Course

Asthma is a disease entity that is highly and increasingly prevalent in our society. Increasing pollution& poor air quality compounding a growing population’s intrinsic susceptibility, is causing a spike in its incidence worldwide. Children also greatly suffer due to this disease. Due to their inherent vulnerability Asthma has a more debilitating and effect on children than adults, and higher probability of leading to a fatal outcome.
This course briefly discusses and equips a GP on how to diagnose and manage a child with Asthma, and when and how to refer .
