About the Course

Ear, nose and throat are the portals of communication between exterior and interior of the body. When inadequately treated, infections in sequestered body spaces are likely to persist, and lead to more difficult morbidities. Chronic infection of the middle ear cavity (Chronic Suppurative Otitis Media – CSOM) is very common in areas of low social hygiene. This course explains in detail CSOM, its treatment options, complications and sequelae, and updates on management strategies.
